I don’t really write poetry often, but I was having some super Rose/Ten feels and decided to write some Doctor Who poetry to help me. It worked. And I quite liked the outcome of a few of these. SO I WILL SHARE THEM

Blue Man in a Blue Box


Why is the TARDIS blue?

Well, the man inside had both hearts torn in two.

His flower is gone, gone away,

They’re never to travel another day.

So now you know why the TARDIS is blue…

Because the man inside is just as blue, too.

She Needs a Doctor


Now she sits alone in her room with her tears,

For they’ve come true, all of her fears.

Dear Rose has fallen gravely ill,

Love-sickness taken all her will.

This love-sickness which has caught her,

Can only be cured by her long-gone Doctor.

Three Special Words


Never could three words be said,

Never would they pass his lips.

Lightly around them did he tread,

And now into sadness his heart dips.

The gentle Doctor, now without his Rose,

Is drowning, drowning in his woes.

Forever


It started with a little touch,

At first it didn’t seem like much.

He grabbed her hand and whispered, “run”,

And from that day their fun had begun.

He whisked Rose Tyler to lands unknown,

She promised to never leave him alone.

One day a formidable foe returned,

And in the eyes of Rose Tyler the time vortex burned.

A kiss he placed upon her lips,

And with that kiss, from Rose the vortex rips.

Into him the vortex went,

But after it returned to the TARDIS, he was spent.

Rose watched in horror as he changed his face,

He no longer looked like her lord of time and space.

But with shining eyes he greeted her as he woke,

And with a full heart she knew this man was her same bloke.

For quite some time they traveled in their blue box,

Until ugly fate crept in, sly like a fox.

Doomsday ripped them to different places,

Never again would they feel each others’ embraces.

In a dream he told his Rose what to do,

So quickly so packed up and followed each clue.

Finding herself on a desolate beach,

She meets him there, just out of her reach.

Only an image, nothing more,

She couldn’t touch him, so her heart she did pour.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as his sun burned away,

With time ticking, three certain words she did say.

With seconds remaining to say goodbye,

He stared Rose Tyler right in the eye.

But as his image faded,

His emotions he kept so very shaded.

He couldn’t bring himself to tell her,

What his true, deep feelings were.

And Rose Tyler sobbed on that beach,

For now her lord was truly out of reach.

Alone he cried his silent tears,

Feeling true heart break after so many lonely years.

But he’ll shed no tears for me or for you,

Only Rose Tyler, who is left always wondering…
